We were proud to see Dr. Brad Duhon take the podium at AMCICO 2026, the XXVI Congreso Nacional of the Asociación Mexicana de Cirujanos de Columna (Mexican Association of Spine Surgeons). The congress took place September 11 to 14, 2026, in Cancún, Mexico. During his talk, Dr. Duhon discussed SI joint dysfunction, surgical techniques and the continued advancement of SI joint care.
About the AMCICO National Congress
AMCICO brings together spine surgeons from Mexico and around the world for its national congress. This year, the program covered topics such as degenerative cervical and lumbar conditions and complex surgical procedures. In addition, sessions looked at new technology in spine surgery, including robotics and navigation.
Dr. Duhon’s Talk on SI Joint Care at AMCICO
Dr. Duhon, a neurosurgeon, did a phenomenal job bringing thoughtful discussion and clinical perspective to an important and evolving area of spine care. His talk covered SI joint dysfunction, surgical techniques and where SI joint care is heading.
Meetings like AMCICO give surgeons a place to compare approaches to SI joint care and learn from one another. For that reason, we were glad to see the SI joint on the program.

Thank You to Our Hosts
A special thank-you to AMCICO President Dr. Carlos Sauri-Barraza for the invitation and hospitality. We are also grateful to him for creating a forum where surgeons from around the world can exchange ideas and advance patient care.
